MACON, Ga. — Saturday some "Raiders" came home for a reunion.
It was the 40th anniversary for the class of 1985 of Northeast High School .
Principal Donna Walker-Thompson led the class tour of the school, and they went to the band room, lunch room, weight room and health care lab.
Walker-Thompson was also a Northeast student, and teacher and assistant principal before becoming principal.
Classmates shared memories and took pictures of different areas of the renovated school.
Over the years, there has been new construction, and the older building was knocked down. The biggest change was the Middle Appling Middle School moved next to the high school on the "Hill."
Class president Chancellor Ridley says it's been a long time coming to see the school's transformation.
