University of South Carolina (USC) head coach Shane Beamer announced today that he has relieved offensive line coach Lonnie Teasley of his duties effective immediately.

According to a press release from USC's Athletics Communications and Public Relations Department, run game coordinator/tight ends coach Shawn Elliott will now assume the offensive line coaching responsibilities.

Teasley had been part of the Gamecocks football program since 2021, working as an offensive analyst before taking over the on-field coaching duties early in the 2022 season on an interim basis. Now in his third season, Teasley took over the role of offensive line coach on a full-time basis after replacing Greg Adkins in January of 2023.
