(WHTM) — Here are James Franklin's best (and worst) moments with Penn State.

After earning a 104-45 record in 11-plus seasons with the Nittany Lions, Franklin was fired on Sunday after losing 42-37 in double overtime to Oregon in Penn State's White Out game, followed by losses to the winless UCLA Bruins and the unranked Northwestern Wildcats.

Franklin finished his Penn State tenure with a 104-45 overall record, including a 64-36 mark in Big Ten conference play, which makes him the second-winningest coach in Penn State football history. His Nittany Lions won at least 10 games in six of his 12 seasons, including three straight double-digit win campaigns from 2022-24.
