KINGSTON, N.Y. — Hundreds gathered on the Rondout Waterfront as the Ulster County Italian Festival honored the region’s Italian-American culture and identity.

Organized by the Ulster County Italian American Foundation, the festival brought the community together to enjoy everything from Italian music and food to activities and cultural experiences.

Downtown streets were packed with vendors for the festival. They offered gifts and crafts as well as Italian-themed goods. Big fans of the festival could sport their Italian pride with flag-themed shirts and hats.

Live music was performed on two stages. One was at T.R. Gallo Park, and the other, hosted by the O+ Festival, was by the Hudson River Maritime Museum barn. Acts included the Leonisa Ardizzone Quartet, Jackie DiMaggio, Laura Lizcano,
