TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Santa Rita Fire District says two people were hurt in a crash on Arivaca Highway early Sunday morning, October 12.
The Santa Rita Fire District says it happened at mile marker 19.
Emergency crews arrived and found a Honda Accord that had lost control, skidded off the roadway, and stopped about 30 feet north of the road after hitting several trees.
The driver, a male in his 30s, sustained minor injuries, while the passenger, a female in her 30s, suffered serious injuries.
Both patients were taken to a hospital for treatment.
