INDIANAPOLIS -- A person is in critical condition after a reported shooting on the near west side of Indianapolis.

According to officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a call of a person shot near the intersection of W. 14th Street and N. Tibbs Avenue at around 3:51 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, they located a person who had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The person was reported to be in critical condition.
