A new, 2D Avatar: The Last Airbender fighting game was just announced, featuring classic characters and a bold visual style pulled straight from the beloved animated series. There have been plenty of video games based on Avatar: The Last Airbender and its follow-up The Legend of Korra , with some being more warmly received than others.

During this weekend's New York Comic Con 2025 event, publisher Gameplay Group announced Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game , a 1-v-1 fighting game set for release sometime in summer 2026. The recently added YouTube trailer spotlighted characters like Aang, Korra, Toph, and Prince Yuko as they challenged one another in fast-paced duels. The game is now available to wishlist on Steam .
