One of the prominent storylines you’ll hear plenty about for Sunday’s Game 1 of the American League Championship Series between the Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners is how weary the AL West champions might be.

They may not be alone, however.

The M’s, of course, needed 15 innings to finish off the Detroit Tigers in Game 5 of their AL Division Series on Friday night, a game that ended just after 1 a.m. ET on Saturday. From there, the Mariners had to celebrate, sleep, pack and fly to Toronto, where they arrived late Saturday night.

In between, they had to get family and ticket details sorted out, then figure out a way to best contest the rested Blue Jays, who finished off their series against the Yankees on Wednesday.
