TULSA, Okla. (KFOR) – An Oklahoma organization that provides housing for homeless veterans has received national attention for their positive work throughout the state.
Heroes Hope is a non-profit organization that started as a small church group with fellow veterans. They realized the great need to help veterans experiencing homelessness across the state.
It’s now a fully operational non-profit that finds immediate housing for veterans. The group puts veterans in either a transition home or an apartment. The spaces are fully furnished and utilities and other needs are paid for by Heroes Hope.
The organization is based out of Tulsa but help veterans from all across the state. In fact, they have plans to open a branch in Oklahoma City because the need in the metro is so great.
