PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Darius Slay went down with a shoulder injury against the Cleveland Browns .

Slay suffered the injury when tried to lower his shoulder on a tackle in the middle of the field. He stayed down on a knee before being escorted off the field and into the blue medical tent. He was seen on the sideline without his helmet, riding the exercise bike, but he never returned to the game.

Slay dealt with a shoulder injury earlier this year, and it is unknown if this is a aggravation of his previous injury or completely new. Yet, with the Steelers on a short week and facing the Bengals on Thursday, the injury could force him to miss time if it serious enough.
