Trevor Norris, Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board’s senior manager of Destination Development, has been named 2025 Tourism Champion of the Year by the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario.

Norris will be feted at the Ontario Tourism Awards of Excellence on October 29 at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre.

Quinte leaders also heaped praise on Norris for his innovative new approaches to boost regenerative, sports and experiential tourism in the region that have resulted in new revenue gains for regional tourism operators amid difficult economic challenges.
