MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Madison County Water Department is warning customers in one Northeastern part of the county to expect a water outage on Monday.

The water department said, weather permitting, it plans to make system improvements to its system beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13.

MCWD said this improvement work will mean a temporary water outage for customers on Walker Lane from 267 Walker Lane east to McCullom Lane. The department said this will include homes on Canopy Road, Brenna Lane, Rindon Lane and Stoney-Knoll Drive.

The water department said the work is expected to be complete and the water turned back on by 12 p.m. Monday.
