The biggest weakness in Godzilla and all other kaijus' bodies is finally revealed. The monster known as Gojira is the perfect representation of the unstoppable essence of Mother Nature. A key part of Godzilla lore is that nobody and nothing can stop him, even when he's taken down by humans, other kaiju, or a similarly powerful enemy. In the end, the King of the Monsters prevails.

IDW's 2025 Godzilla comics add several new characters and elements to Godzilla's story. The superpowered, kai-sei-energy wielding, G-mutant hero Jacen Braid is capable of fighting towering monsters one-on-one, and the terrifying new kaiju Lament is an ultra-intelligent creature who can talk like a human being. Lament's offspring look and behave similarly to Alien 's face-huggers.
