MADISON, (WKOW) – Families gathered at Wingra Park on Sunday for Luke’s Learn to Fish Clinic, an event dedicated to the memory of Luke Diebel.

The community came together from noon to 2 p.m. to celebrate Luke's love for fishing. The clinic was hosted by Madison Parks, the Madison Parks Foundation, Wingra Boats’ Camp Wingra, and Girl Scout Troop #8414.

It was inspired by Luke's sister, Cora, who wanted to share her brother’s favorite hobby with others.

“We are here at Wingra Boats today to do a community fishing event,” said Jennifer Marquart, a Girl Scout leader and friend of the Diebel family.
