After a weekend full of big wins and hard landings, this probably isn’t the best time to hand out midterm marks for our area college football teams.
It’s the grading equivalent of going shopping on an empty stomach — not the best recipe for clear thinking.
But we don’t make the calendar.
Now that the season’s halfway over, time for our annual report cards:

The Rockets this year are the student with the 150 IQ and 1.8 GPA.
They are doing less with more, and, relative to their talent and expectations, this is shaping up as the most disappointing UT season in years.
