BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Trial Court will begin renovations to the public entrance on October 20. The regular public entrance will be closed, and a temporary entrance will be created. The temporary entrance will be on the west side of the courthouse, just south of the regular entrance.

All members of the public who need to do business in the St. Joseph courthouse must go through the security checkpoint at the temporary entrance. Signs will be available at the new entrance and exit within and outside the courthouse.

The renovations are expected to take two weeks. This project affects the St. Joseph courthouse only. The Niles courthouse entrance remains completely operational Share
