ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Residents at Pinnacle Ridge in NE Roanoke are getting into the fall spirit in a creative way.

Every month, they decorate their entrance sign and this October the neighborhood has transformed it into a “Pumpkin Fest.”

Pumpkins, porch pride, and plenty of creativity are on display with hand-painted gourds, bright colors, and fall décor. Residents say it’s a tradition that reflects just how special their community is.

“So each one of these pumpkins comes from an individual home and that home has their own design that they do,” said Sonya Hale, a Pinnacle Ridge resident. “What I thought was so unique about this year was I don’t see one that is like another one.”
