SELLERSBURG, Ind. —
A Georgia man was arrested after a 115 mph police chase in Sellersburg with two children in the car.
Indiana State Police arrested Michael Tapia, 35, of Georgia, after they said he was clocked going 115 mph in a 70 mph zone Saturday night.
Around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, an ISP officer was on I-65 north of Sellersburg when he observed going 45 miles over the speed limit.
The officer attempted to pull over Tapia, but he continued to speed down I-65 southbound. He was seen taking the Sellersburg exit, running through a stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, swerving around other vehicles and getting on to I-65 northbound.
Tapia then pulled over to the side of the road, where he was arrested. During the stop, the officer found Tapia had two children in the car during the inc
