Death of Naval Academy midshipman is under investigation, officials say

The death of a 20-year-old New Jersey midshipman is under investigation, the U.S. Naval Academy confirmed Sunday.

Midshipman Second Class Kyle Philbert James of Whippany, New Jersey, was a member of the 36th company of the academy, a history major and a member of the USNA Gospel Choir.
