WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Main Street was filled with red and white as the General Pulaski Association hosted its 87th annual Pulaski Day Parade on Sunday, celebrating Polish heritage with music, dance, and community pride.

The long-running event, now in its 87th year, brought together residents and visitors to honor the legacy of General Casimir Pulaski, a Polish hero of the American Revolutionary War.

Marchers, musicians, and dancers lined Main Street, continuing a tradition that has united Western New York’s Polish community for nearly nine decades.

"This year we saw so many other cultures involved in this parade — the most variety of different cultures that we’ve ever had in our Pulaski Day Parade," Joseph Mikolaj Rejjar, president of the General Pulaski Association, told 2 On Your Side
