So here we go.
The American League’s representative in the World Series will either be a team that hasn’t been there in 32 years (Blue Jays) or a team that’s never been there (Mariners). In fact, the Mariners have been to the ALCS just three times (1995, 2000, 2001) and never even had a decisive seventh game in any of those series.
Personally, I think the Blue Jays are a far better team than the Mariners, and especially with home field, they should win this series and get back to the Fall Classic.
But the postseason is very random, as you know, and… well, that’s why they play the games.
