OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Putnam City Schools is celebrating a milestone and new addition.

Earlier this week, the district celebrated the opening of Putnam City Schools Centennial Center and Park.

It was made possible through community support, funded entirely by the 2014 Centennial Bond and the 2017 Momentum Bond. It was built to impact the district's 27 schools and 19,000 students.

"Decisions that are made here will directly impact the education of every one of our students and the livelihood of our teachers and our and our support staff, so this building is important for the growth of our district and we're just excited for that," said AJ Graffeo, public information officer, Putnam City Schools.
