MIAMI GARDENS — Some of the bad habits that plagued the Miami Dolphins in 2024 appear to be resurfacing.
After the Dolphins’ heartbreaking 29-27 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday to drop the team to 1-5, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa decided to reveal some of his teammates have been either late or missing players-only meetings.
“We have guys showing up to player-only meetings late, guys not showing up to player-only meetings,” Tagovailoa said.
The Dolphins spent much of the offseason cleansing their locker room of bad apples, as coach Mike McDaniel noted, at the end of last season, several players were late to mandatory meetings in 2024.
