Paul Finebaum sympathizes with Auburn when it comes to the officiating as of late.

It does not excuse, however, the team’s second-half performance in a 20-10 loss to Georgia.

“You can’t help but look at two games against Oklahoma and this (Georgia) game and go how in the world did Auburn keep getting bad calls, but I’ll tell you it doesn’t matter once the game is over,” Finebaum told Matt Barrie on Sunday.

“Would Auburn had won had they gone up 17-0, which they absolutely should have? I like their chances, but that doesn’t excuse them for not doing anything in the second half.”
