It appears we are in the midst of Drake Maye’s proverbial “arrival.”

On the heels of an impressive win over Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills, Maye and the Patriots beat the New Orleans Saints, 25-19, on Sunday to climb to 4-2 on the season.

The Patriots offense ripped off plenty of big plays — including some that got called back — with Maye ultimately finishing 18-for-26 in the air for 261 yards and three touchdowns. He also led the team with 28 rushing yards.

The potential had always been there with Maye. Now surrounded with more offensive weapons, he’s proving the caliber of quarterback he can be.

He certainly impressed the Saints.
