YPSILANTI — The Adrian Maples improved to 6-1 with a dominant 39-7 win over Ypsilanti Friday night.
Adrian scored the first two touchdowns, including a Luke Bruggeman touchdown catch from Jaxon Dowling, making it 14-0. After Ypsilanti closed to within a single score it was Bruggeman again adding to the Maples total with a 62-yard touchdown run, extending Adrian’s lead to 22-7 which is where the score would stand at the half.
Adrian scored 17 points in the second half while keeping Ypsilanti out of the endzone to put the game out of reach, improving to 6-1 in the process.
Adrian will return to action next Friday when it hosts Jackson followed by the regular season finale at Huron.
