BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) -Families and horse enthusiasts gathered at the Brazos County Expo Center on Sunday for the annual Day of the Horse, marking the close of the opening weekend of the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo .

The event, now in its third year, was organized by the Brazos Extension Horse Committee to celebrate the state’s equine heritage through hands-on learning, education, and family fun.
