BOYS RANCH, Texas (KFDA) - The 81st annual Boys Ranch Rodeo and Fall Fest is quickly approaching, and a full dress rehearsal was conducted on Sunday to prepare for the event.

“We practice the rodeo from start to finish, which leads us to next week when we’re going to have our 81st annual rodeo. The kids are our riders, which is always exciting to see them, whatever level they’re at, come out, be brave, and try their hand at whatever activity they decide to participate in,” said Amanda Rogers, director of communications and marketing for Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch.

The rodeo and fall festival is set for Saturday, October 18.

The event means much more to Boys Ranch than a simple celebration; the rodeo celebrates Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch and the impact it has on local youth.
