AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Cottonwood Faire was held in Amarillo this weekend, sending participants back in time to enjoy medieval and historical events.
The event was held at Thompson Memorial Park on both Saturday and Sunday and featured vendors, concerts, a salsa eating competition and more.
“The Cottonwood Faire is what our kingdom puts on to celebrate each year as the king himself, Good King Richard, along with his wonderful queen, Good Queen Elizabeth, put on the fine faire for all the folk around to come and visit,” said Sir Bramewell, captain of the guard of Cottonwood. “It is a day of great festivities, food, sounds and events.”
