Will Brodie has got his wish to land at Port Adelaide, with the Dockers landing a draft pick they are unlikely to even use in return for the depth midfielder.

As revealed by The West Australian, Brodie will be sent to the Power for a sixth-round pick that currently sits at No.103.

Fremantle are unlikely to utilise the pick, with the midfielder’s exit to the Power clearing up a second spot on their main list ahead of next month’s draft, and most importantly, some valuable salary-cap space.

Brodie requested a move to the Power to play under former Dockers midfield coach Josh Carr, having not played at AFL level since April 2023.
