One week after their most undisciplined game of the season, the Chiefs flipped the script in a 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.

On Sunday, there were no accepted penalties against the team.

Detroit declined an offside penalty called on Chris Jones late in the fourth quarter.

Detroit, penalized four times for 38 yards, saw those miscues swing the game.

An illegal-motion penalty wiped out a trick-play touchdown in the first quarter, a defensive pass interference call extended Kansas City’s go-ahead drive before halftime, and a roughing-the-passer flag in the fourth quarter set up a touchdown that pushed the Chiefs’ lead to double digits.
