New Delhi: Intel has officially lifted the curtain on its next-generation processor family, Panther Lake, marking a key milestone in the company’s AI computing roadmap. The new Intel Core Ultra series 3 chips are the first client SoCs built on Intel’s 18A process, the most advanced semiconductor node developed and manufactured in the United States.
The announcement, made in Chandler, Arizona, also included a first look at Intel Xeon 6+ (code-named Clearwater Forest) , the company’s next-gen server processor built on the same 18A node. Both chips are being produced at Intel’s new Fab 52 facility, a massive factory that represents part of Intel’s $100 billion investment in U.S. semiconductor manufacturing.
