TACOMA, WA — Local waiter Jesse Carter flipped a coin Wednesday night to determine if he was going to go check on his patrons every five minutes or take their orders and never come back to their table ever again.
"Let's see," Carter said to himself. "Heads, I go over every couple of minutes with a creepy smile on my face, ask them how they're enjoying their meal, and make it seem like I'm trying to become their friend. Tails, I never look at their table again and only pop by at the end to collect the bill and my tip."
Witnesses said that they witnessed Carter talking to himself in the back room of the restaurant before flipping the coin and reacting with a pleased expression.
"I don't know what the outcome of the coin toss was or what he was trying to decide on," commented diner Richard
