Will MacKenzie, Simon Cooper, Neil Sutherland, and Jay Cartwright are set for another round of misadventures.

The Inbetweeners is poised to return to the screen after more than a decade under a deal struck by Banijay UK and Fudge Park Productions.

Banijay did not disclose whether a film or TV series is in development from creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, though a movie in Las Vegas has been teased. A stage iteration may also be considered.

The Inbetweeners launched as a TV series on Channel 4’s youth network E4 in 2008, with a second season airing two years later. Two movies followed in 2011 and 2014, both of which topped the UK box office.

It was produced by Bwark Productions, originally founded by Morris and Beesley, which later sold to Zodiak Media, acquired by Banijay
