Victorian Liberal leader Brad Battin has hit back at Premier Jacinta Allan, after she accused the Opposition of deliberately undermining the government’s machete ban and changes to bail laws.
A war of words erupted between the two party leaders on Monday after Premier Allan was grilled about a series of criminal incidents, including a brutal attack on a father and son that saw five teens arrested, three of whom returned to the scene the next day .
Premier Allan described the incident as “brazen, shocking and dangerous behaviour” that would not be tolerated.
