A Britain's Got Talent performer, who received glowing praise from Simon Cowell during his appearance, has passed away. Dave Betton, aged 82, took to the stage in 2020 alongside his son Dean, despite having stepped back from singing a full decade prior.
The father and son pair progressed to the latter rounds of the competition following a standing ovation for their rendition of Frank Sinatra's That's Life. Amanda Holden declared they had "smashed it", whilst Simon Cowell offered them particularly heartfelt praise.
