Whilst countless individuals turn to dating apps for fleeting encounters or brief flings, one elderly gentleman has taken to Tinder with far more permanent intentions in mind.

The 79 year old tycoon, Sir Benjamin Slade, set out on a mission to find a considerably younger partner, whom he affectionately describes as a "good breeder" to give him a son who will one day take over his sprawling 1,300-acre Somerset estate.

Having previously placed an advert in a newspaper seeking a wife to give him two sons, Sir Benjamin's contemporary approach was captured on the Channel 5 show "Millionaire Age Gap Love".

Born in 1946, Sir Benjamin has walked down the aisle before but has no children. Therefore, he picked up where he left off in his hunt for a spouse, reports Wales Online .
