NORMAN — OU football's offensive flaws were hidden in plain sight.

Entering the Red River Rivalry game, the Sooners had yet to figure out how to run the football effectively and consistently. OU's offensive line had been better through five games compared to last season, although it still struggled to create space for runners. And despite Jaren Kanak's impressive start to the season catching passes, the tight ends had failed to block successfully.
