Upstate residents will have opportunities in Greenville and Anderson to voice their concerns about a proposed rate increase by Duke Energy Carolinas.

The company is asking the South Carolina Public Service Commission to approve a rate hike of 7.6% ― an increase of about $10.38 per month for the average residential customer, according to the state Department of Consumer Affairs.
