Kansas City defeated Detroit 30-17 at Arrowhead Stadium, improving to 3-3 on the season. Patrick Mahomes threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns and added another score on the ground as the Chiefs controlled much of the game. Marquise Brown caught two touchdown passes and Xavier Worthy added another. Kansas City committed no turnovers or penalties and limited the league’s top-scoring offense to 17 points.
