BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Fall mornings continue for now, but afternoons run above normal this week.

TODAY’S OUTLOOK

After another cool morning start, temperatures will warm quickly into the low 80s by lunchtime with highs topping out in the upper 80s this afternoon.

Low humidity sticks around, keeping conditions sunny, dry, and comfortable.

NICE MORNINGS FOR NOW

We may be able to squeeze out one more morning in the upper 50s before lows return to the 60s by mid to late week.

While the dry air holds for now, humidity will gradually creep back, so mornings won’t feel quite as crisp later in the week.

WARM AFTERNOONS REMAIN

Afternoon highs stay above normal, holding the upper 80s through the end of the week and into the weekend.
