SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport firefighters responded to a house fire at 1:45 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13.
It happened in the 3100 block of Milton Street. Officials say heavy smoke and flames were coming from the front of the home.
SFD says all but two people were able to get out before they arrived. Crews were able to enter the home and rescue the two victims. They were taken to hospitals in life-threatening condition.
No other injuries were reported.
SFD says it took nine units and 27 firefighters to get the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
