It’s not easy being a little Telethon star — with all those photo shoots and celebrity appearances — so it’s important they take some well-earned breaks.

To help them prepare for the rigours of the Telethon weekend, the mini-stars have been getting special treatment.

Making sure they are well-rested ahead of the event, Premier Roger Cook joined this year’s Telethon kids — Izzy Miller, Paige McIlree, Jordan Blair and Xavier Summers — during a luxury day at Perth’s Crown Towers.

Moonlighting as a waiter, Mr Cook served tasty treats to the little Telethon stars as they enjoyed a high tea.

To their delight, he also handed over backstage passes to the musical Beauty and the Beast.
