Thousands of South Australians are set to pocket up to $50 off their next meal, thanks to a new dining cashback scheme targeting coastal hospitality venues hit hard by this summer’s algal bloom.

The $15 million Coast is Calling – Dining Cashback program will see 300,000 locals benefit, with the first public ballot opening on November 3.

Sixty thousand winners will be drawn a week later, scoring a half-price dining discount valid until December 7 up to the value of $50 per voucher.
