GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Measles outbreaks across the country continue to add to the record case count.

This is something health officials in Wisconsin are monitoring.

Our state has not seen any new cases in over a month, but outbreaks in other parts of the U.S. are still reporting hundreds of new patients.

The CDC says an average of 27 new measles cases have been reported each week since the end of August.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services updates its measles dashboard every Tuesday and Friday. There were 36 cases identified in Oconto County and 2 hospitalizations.

Looking beyond our state, even though a deadly measles outbreak in Texas was declared over in August, outbreaks in other parts of the U.S. continue.
