Two left-wing Israeli lawmakers, Ofer Cassif and Ayman Odeh, were escorted out of the Knesset on Tuesday after disrupting a speech by Trump with protests and a sign calling for the recognition of Palestine.
As Trump addressed Knesset, the duo began shouting “genocide” in response to Trump’s remarks. The protest intensified when the two MPs revealed a sign reading, “Recognize Palestine,” which led security personnel to immediately remove them from the chamber. They were seen shouting,’genocide.’
As they were escorted out, some members of Knesset stood up and began chanting “Trump! Trump!” in support of the president. Meanwhile, Trump, responded with a brief remark, “That was very efficient,” leading to laughter from the remaining lawmakers in the chamber.
In the speech, Trump stated that
