Wisconsin-Superior men’s soccer made it seven wins from seven games on Saturday by downing Northwestern 4-0 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play in St. Paul.
The Yellowjackets got four goals from four players, with two coming in each half.
Jake Kidd (Superior) opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, with Isaac Beckel making it 2-0 on his first score of the season in the 29th.
Seth Davidson and Harvey McLoughlin followed for UWS, which had more than enough offense. The Yellowjackets allowed just three shot attempts for the game (and none in the first half), two of which were on target and saved by UWS goalie Luke Lockman.
McLoughlin recorded two assists.
UWS (9-4, 7-0 UMAC) will play a nonconference game at Saint John’s on Saturday before a Saturday home game against Crown.
