After a shaky, injury-riddled season, Mariners pitcher Bryce Miller redeemed himself in one night… only after giving up a leadoff homer to George Springer on the first pitch, though, and likely giving Mariners fans heartburn along with it. Miller composed himself and shut down the Jays after that, making it through six innings without further damage. Kevin Gausman was just as effective for Toronto until giving up a huge, game-tying blast to Cal Raleigh to start a two-run sixth inning.
