SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - After more than 20 years, the Columbus Day Parade came back to Main Street in Springfield over the weekend.

It ran through downtown to the Christopher Columbus statue at the gates of the South End.

This year’s theme was ‘From the New World to Our Neighborhood: A Tribute to Local Heroes,’ which honored local law enforcement.
