San Francisco is home to a new boutique business that has KIRO host John Curley confused — baby-naming.
Taylor Humphrey’s, 37, full-time profession is naming other people’s kids, charging anywhere between $200 to $30,000.
“This is not just a creative choice, like this isn’t just something that parents are saying, ‘Oh, we just don’t have any good ideas,'” Curley shared. “Parents fill out a questionnaire, and Taylor sends back a name report and does consultations over Zoom. Names are so deeply personal, and they really are going to be your child’s legacy.”
Through this career, Humphrey revealed that the most financially successful men are typically named John, David, Thomas, Michael, Wang, Mark, Charles, Richard, and Jim.
